Practical, supportive services in your home, built around your child and your family’s real routines.

In-home ABA is often a great option when challenges show up most at home and you want support right where daily life happens: mealtimes, bedtime, homework, transitions, and getting out the door. Is your child struggling with any of the following?
We don’t do “one-size-fits-all.” We start by understanding what your child needs and what your home routines actually look like. Sessions can include skill-building, behavior support, and coaching so the plan works when we’re not there.
Our focus is practical progress; helping your child succeed during real moments: morning routines, mealtime, play, homework, bedtime, and family outings.

Parents and caregivers are the most important part of success at home. We teach practical strategies you can actually use, so you’re not guessing in the hardest moments. The goal is less stress, more consistency, and skills that last.
We provide in-home services in North Miami-Dade, South Broward, and throughout the rest of South Florida. Click here for more info about the areas we serve.
We also offer school-based ABA therapy and community-based ABA services.
We accept many commercial insurance plans, such as Florida Blue, Aetna, and Tricare. Coverage varies by plan. If you’re not sure whether services are covered, we’ll help you understand the next step. We also accept Step Up for Students with Unique Abilities.
Please reach us at info@thrivebehavioraltherapy.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
In-home ABA therapy provides behavior support and skill-building in your child’s natural environment, your home, so strategies fit real routines like mornings, meals, play, homework, and bedtime.
Sessions may include teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, practicing communication and daily living skills, and coaching caregivers so progress continues between sessions.
For legal and safety purposes, a caregiver is expected to be present in the home. Another important benefit is that it gives parents and other caregivers a chance to learn the strategies so they can stay consistent when the therapist isn’t present.
It depends on your child’s needs, goals, and availability. The number of hours at home are also dependent upon whether your child is also receiving ABA services in school. Hours can be increased if necessary or decreased when less intensive intervention is needed. Recommendations are based upon on-going assessments and progress over time.
Yes, in-home ABA often targets real-life challenges like tantrums, aggression, refusal, transitions, bedtime routines, and safety concerns (like running away or self-injury) by teaching replacement skills and consistent responses. To learn more, see our Behavior Help blog.
Every child is different. Many families notice small wins early (like smoother routines or fewer escalations), and bigger changes build with consistency over time. Progress depends first and foremost on the child as an individual, as well as goals, intensity, and follow-through at home.
